German medical doctors, Katrin Berger and Sam Vanderloo (Francis Fulton-Smith) run a bush clinic in Namibia. Sam is in love with Katrin, but doesn’t reveal his feelings out of respect for his friend, Katrin’s late husband. Christian’s arrival on the scene stirs up jealousy, but there is no time to think of love when cyanide spills into the village’s drinking water, spelling disaster for the villagers and the clinic. The doctors are at pains to halt the deadly effects of the spillage.
