Wetu at Take Once Action film Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland
Richard Pakleppa’s interactive film ‘Three and a half lives of Philip Wetu’ will be screened as part of the Take One Action film festival in Edinburgh, Scotland in July. Take One Action is the UK’s global action cinema project, and a registered charity in the UK. Its patron is the socially committed, Palme D’Or winning filmmaker Ken Loach. Take One Action is an annual festival (23rd September to 3rd October 2010) and year-round events attract thousands of people each year to be entertained, to learn about current global and environmental issues and to take action together. About 80% of its audience members take some kind of action as a result of seeing films in our program; many of these actions – with the help of our campaigning partners – are world-changing.
